I've Been Very, Very Naughty.

I've been naughty because I created this blog of blogs a year ago and stopped posting as soon as I got a job. For that, my most kindest of readers, I apologize. So many great and horrid things have happened since then, so I'm not sure if recapping everything would be worth it; maybe one day I will. I'm actually driving to Minocqua in the morning to visit the fam and have a belated Christmas! I'm really excited to spend more than 24 hours there, unlike most visits. Though I will be camping out on the floor, the house will be warmer than my sad, lonely apartment and their fridge is always full. No complaints will be made by me, I promise. Plus, I'll be able to con my beautiful mother into giving me numerous back massages.

I have wonderful plans to pack up my laundry, meaningless belongings, my kitty and the wonderful and inexpensive gifts into Pocahontas in the morning and take my leave. Even though I'll only be there for three or four days, I'll pull up to my parents well-enough prepared for 2 weeks. Oh, I am elated.

Unless any of you have also been stalking me on ye olde Facebook, you may not be aware of my furry little pet. Last March I drove to the Twin Cities to adopt a fuzzy creature. The wonderful Gabby Dahl helped me pick out the most perfect kitty cat formerly known as "Chiquita", which we for obvious reasons renamed Lady Boo Bua. Lady for short, as well as a million other names.

She's obviously the best kitty ever
Well, my sweets, I should probably get some rest. I'm going to try my best to write more this year and give full, overly detailed summaries of this last year. I hereby vow to make it as interesting and photo-filled as possible to keep you all happy. Also, the War Horse soundtrack just came on and I feel the need to write something profound.  I'll leave you with this,
"It's a dangerous business, going outside your door. If you don't keep your feet, there's no knowing where you'll be swept off to." -Bilbo Baggins
You should all get the War Horse soundtrack composed by John Williams... All of the Lord of the Rings soundtracks, too, while you're at it. They're so, so beautiful and worth a good listen.

Goodnight Moon, hello squishy pillow
